Ibtissem Jouini is a Senior Evaluation Manager at CGIAR, where she leads and manages evaluations across a broad portfolio. Before joining CGIAR, she served as a Regional Evaluations Specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, where she managed decentralized evaluations and designed capacity development activities within the FAO Office of Evaluation (OED). Prior to that, she led multiple independent evaluations and studies and held M&E and Program Manager roles for national, regional, and global projects within international development organizations and foundations. Her contributions to the field include publications, blogs, and webinars on evaluation management and the use and uptake of evaluations, as well as leading the professionalization of evaluation working group at the Asociación Ibérica de Profesionales Evaluadores (APROEVAL). She is also a member of the American Evaluation Association (AEA), the European Evaluation Society (EES) and the MENA Evaluators Network (EvalMena). She holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Evaluation from Saarland University, Germany, and a Master's degree in Microbiology from the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis and the Pasteur Institute, Tunisia.
