The aim of this virtual inception meeting was to provide general guidance to all 14 grant recipients about SPIA's expectations and more information on the ESS data that will be the basis for the different research projects. It was also an opportunity for researchers to explore synergies between common research, identify potential overlaps, and start an interaction with mentors. The meeting included breakout sessions based on research topics, where researchers will deliver a short presentation on their research project.
