SPIA Chair, Derek Byerlee, discussion of SPIA activities and progress since SPIA 36 and in preparation for ISPC 1 meeting in April 2010. A key focus of the discussions was SPIA’s role and business model to reflect recent developments in the CGIAR. Updates covered on-going and planned SPIA activities including environmental impact of CGIAR research, paper on CGIAR impacts between 2001 and 2009 as well as SPIA communication and dissemination strategy.
