CGIAR is seeking to fill one ISDC member vacancy to join seven other current serving members who represent a diverse group of recognized experts in their respective fields, one of which persons serves as ISDC Chair.
The preferred commencement date for the selected appointee is 1 October 2022. To assist CGIAR to maintain an overall ISDC member composition that well positions ISDC to deliver on its mandate in the context of CGIAR’s 2030 Research and Innovation Strategy, CGIAR is seeking strong potential appointees, whose origin, experiences, and normal work environments are from the regions where CGIAR’s work is focused, in one of the following areas of expertise:
- Agricultural economics
- Social sciences, including but not limited to rural sociology, gender, extension, and the science-policy inteface
