This Food Systems Summit Independent Dialogue will involve representatives from the evaluation community to discuss the role of evaluative evidence in delivering on the outcomes of the Food Systems Summit, highlighting challenges, opportunities and ways forward for evaluation to contribute to sustainable food systems.
The aim of the Dialogue is to raise awareness on the role that evaluation plays in learning and accountability towards sustainable food systems and including for the Food Systems Summit commitments & follow up.
Discussion topics will include: the role of evaluation for food systems transformation, the contribution of the evaluation community towards more sustainable food systems, evaluation methods and approaches, among others.
Outcomes of the discussions and issues raised by participants will feed back to the Summit and will highlight how evaluation and evaluative evidence can contribute towards sustainable food systems.
