Parallel Session 16: Science Bridging Borders: Evaluating Regionally for International Public Goods

The session emphasized the application of the continuum of MELIA (Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Impact Assessment) approaches within the research-for-development (R4D) context, particularly in bridging and scaling up regional efforts to create international public goods, as demonstrated through CGIAR's work in Asia. Key insights were shared on evaluating regional public goods for sustainable cooperation. Additionally, the session marked the launch of the Asia Brief, a publication highlighting findings from CGIAR's Science Groups Evaluations in the region.
