On Wednesday, 30 June, SPIA hosted a webinar to provide advice on how to construct impact assessment plans for the research initiative design teams. In their presentation, SPIA Chair Karen Macours and SPIA Panel Member Kyle Emerick first discussed an overall approach to designing an impact assessment plan for the research initiatives. This was followed by concrete examples of innovations being proposed at different initiatives that are suitable for impact assessments. The meeting also provided researchers with an opportunity to collectively reflect on how to respond to the role of impact assessment in the approved One CGIAR PRMF.
*The second half of the webinar (including examples of innovations being proposed at different initiatives that are suitable for impact assessments and a discussion with the participants) is not featured here, but is accessible for CGIAR internal use through the CGIAR Performance & Results Knowledge Hub.
