Evaluation of the CGIAR Gender Platform, towards GDI-Responsive Evaluation Guidelines

This side event engaged a multi-stakeholder audience in learning from the evaluation of the CGIAR GENDER Platform (GP) and discussed activities in CGIAR’s multi-year evaluation plan related to gender-responsive evaluation. The event took place in Rabat, Morocco, on October 19, 2023. The aim was to facilitate the use of evaluative evidence supporting CGIAR’s goal to positively impact gender equality, opportunities for youth and advance social inclusion in agriculture and food systems.

The side event explored:

  • contextual and methodological insights and results from the GENDER Platform Evaluation and forthcoming GDI-Responsive Evaluation Guideline.
  • synergies between ex ante proposal reviews and process & performance evaluations in CGIAR.
