  • CRP 2020 Review: MAIZE

Abstract

The purpose of the MAIZE review is to assess the program based on its work from 2017 through 2019 with respect to the extent to which it is delivering quality of science, its effectiveness in achieving outputs and outcomes and the importance of those identified results, and the extent to which it is positioned to be effective in the future seen from the perspectives of scientists and of the end users of agricultural research.

The review was designed to deliver top-level findings to its primary audience, the CGIAR System Council, the CGIAR System Organization, the MAIZE CRP management, and the Flagship Program (FP) co-leads, the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) and the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA).
