In this video interview, Karen Macours, SPIA Chair and Associate Professor at the Paris School of Economics and Researcher at French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA), explains why the key challenge today is moving away from a sole focus on land productivity. Both the incentives of researchers and, to a certain extent, the testing will need to be changed if CGIAR wants to meet multiple objectives in a changing world.
