SPIA is working with the General Statistics Office (GSO) of Vietnam to collect nationally representative data on the dissemination and adoption of CGIAR innovations in Vietnam. In the context of this work, the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), the Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development (IPSARD) and SPIA are jointly organizing a consultation meeting on data collection for the dissemination and adoption of agricultural innovations.
Objectives of the meeting include (i) Introduction to CGIAR's activities, including SPIA’s Vietnam country study; (ii) Sharing insights on CGIAR's contribution to Vietnam's agriculture and Vietnam’s strategic direction for agricultural development (iii) Consultation on the CGIAR-derived innovations that could be at scale and building the awareness of and demand for data collection.
