Evan Tan was appointed in 2025 as IAES's Associate Officer for Communication and Knowledge Management Coordination. 

A communications professional with almost two decades of regional and international experience, he has been responsible for the marketing and communication efforts of several governments, various non-profit organizations, as well as regional and multinational companies across different fields, such as sustainable development, renewable energy, environmental preservation, private sector development, and financial technology. 

Before IAES, he was a Senior Communications Consultant for CGIAR, overseeing communications for the former research initiatives and then the research programs under the 2025-2030 portfolio.
