Milcah Kirinyet joined the CGIAR Standing Panel on Impact Assessment in 2025 as Research Officer - Data Systems. She advances impact assessment through transparent data practices, leading data curation, replication and transparency practices for nationally representative household surveys. 

Previously, she served as an Oppenheimer Impact Scholar, establishing biodiversity baselines across Kenya's Northern Mara Conservancies and supporting evidence-led innovative conservation financing mechanisms. She holds a Master's in Applied Data Science (Environment & Sustainability) from the University of Exeter and a Bachelor's in Meteorology from the University of Nairobi
